What is Pratyahara ? 

Pratyahara is derived from two Sanskrit words: prati and aahara, with ahara meaning gathering, and prati, a preposition meaning towards. Together they mean "checking the outgoing powers of the mind, freeing it from the thraldom of the senses ahara".

Weekend Itinerary

Day 1 - Friday: 

  • 13:00 - 14:00 Check-in and "getting to know you" introduction. 

  • 14:00 -16:00  Garden Yoga Studio Session with Carol:

  • - Fusion Yoga Breathe & Guided Relaxation Meditation 
    - Talk on Pratyahara
    - Journaling (booklets & pens will be provided)

  • 16:00 - 18:00 Free time to relax, enjoy the gardens, swimming pool & jacuzzi. 

  • 18:00 - 19:15 Dinner (Main Meal & Dessert)

  • 19:30 - 20:15 Yin Yoga with Carol & Kirsten: "healing the mind, finding stillness"


Day 2 - Saturday: 

  • 07:00 - 07:45 Yoga Flow with Carol & Kirsten

  • 08:00 - 10:00 Breakfast

  • 10:00 - 12:00 Garden Yoga Studio Session:

  • - Empowerment - & Wim Hof Workshop with Huw
    - Hatha Yoga by Carol

  • 12:00 - 13:00 Light Lunch

  • 13:00 - 16:00 Garden Yoga Studio Session:

  • - Wim Hof Workshop with Huw continues
    - Ice Bath

  • 18:00 - 19:15 Dinner (Main Meal & Dessert)

  • 19:30 - 20:15 Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing (Tibetan- & Quartz Crystal Bowls) by Laetitia

Day 3 - Sunday: 

  • 07:00 - 08:00 1.6km Mountain Hike - "let's take a walk and reflect"

  • 08:00 - 10:00 Breakfast

  • 10:00 Check-out of the rooms

  • 10:00 - 17:00 Enjoy Spa Treatments and use of the Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, Garden & Restaurant Facilities. 

  • - 25 minute Back & Neck Massage (choose between Aromatherapy, Swedish, Hot Stone or Vanilla-Coconut Massage)

About your host

Carol Roberts-Twigg

Carol has run many yoga retreats over the past 3 years. She has a passion for sharing her knowledge of yoga and the Empowerment it gives her students both on and off the mat.

I seek to help others thrive in live by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.”



Kerstin's flow sequences are a reflection of her love for yoga. The intention of her classes is to allow the practitioner to discover the beauty in their practice and body. She is qualified in two styles of yoga - vinyasa and Yin. Her core belief is that "yoga assists us in navigating through this life with integrity and love, allowing us to shine our own individual light upon the world".


Huw Lloyd-Griffiths

is from the UK and lived in Barcelona since 2014. After seeing tremendous personal benefits to both mental and physical health practicing the Wim Hof Method, he created the 'Sea You on Saturday' group in 2020 (morning beach dips & breathwork sessions). Since completing his WHM Instructor certification in March 2022, Huw has been hosting official workshops, retreats, breathing sessions and ice baths in & around Barcelona. For Huw, the one word that sums up the Method is "connection" - to oneself, to nature, and to others and he always feels privileged to spread this far and wide. He loves local coffee, exploring the countryside and eating good food!


Laetitia van der Walt

Laetitia is a practitioner of Holistic treatments to assist the body and mind for true relaxation, healing & rejuvenation. Laetitia is trained and qualified to provide the following Holistic treatments: Qi-Gong, Sound Therapy, Crystal Healing, Reiki, Abhyanga Massage, Nature Therapy such as "Forest Bathing", Art Therapy, Cacao & Tea Ceremonies. Laetitia is also a 200 Hour Certified Yoga Teacher in Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. 


This retreat is incredibly popular and is limited to 20 guests.
