A little story on how I got into yoga.

**Discovering Yoga: A Journey of Sweaty Beginnings and Unexpected Joys**

Hey there! So, picture this: it's 2009, and here I am, your typical gym enthusiast pumped up on weights and treadmills, thinking yoga was just for stretching. Little did I know, my sister had other plans. "Try a Bikram yoga class," she said. "It'll change your life," she said. And well, she wasn't wrong!

So there I was, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, stepping into my first Bikram class. Ninety minutes of sweating buckets later, I was questioning all my life choices. Seriously, who knew yoga could be this intense? It was like a sauna party with a twist!

But you know what? Despite feeling like a fish out of water (or should I say a downward dog out of alignment?), I was hooked. From that very first class, I sensed there was something more to this yoga thing than just physical exertion.

Fast forward a bit, and I found myself signing up for teacher training. Me, a yoga teacher? Crazy, right? But hey, when you find something that lights you up inside, you go for it! So, off I went, diving deeper into Vinyasa, exploring Yin, and realizing that yoga wasn't just shaping my body; it was shaping my mind, too.

Nowadays, rolling out my mat isn't just about toning muscles or perfecting poses. It's my daily dose of sanity, my mental vitamin pill. Trust me, my friends know: "Don't mess with me before yoga!"

Teaching yoga? It's a whole new ball game every time. I mean, trying to herd a bunch of yogis into warrior pose is like herding cats. But hey, every class is a fresh adventure, and seeing my students grow and glow—nothing beats that.

And let's talk about practicing. Every time I hit the mat, it's like rediscovering yoga all over again. Each pose, each breath—there's always something new, a little surprise waiting for me.

So, here's the thing about yoga: it's never the same. It's like that box of chocolates—each practice is a new flavor, sometimes sweet, sometimes nutty (especially when you're trying those crazy arm balances!).

But you know what? I wouldn't trade it for the world. Yoga isn't just exercise; it's a journey of self-discovery, laughter, and yes, occasionally falling flat on your face (quite literally, in some poses).

So here's to being forever a student of the practice, soaking up every bend, twist, and "om." And to all my fellow yogis out there—keep flowing, keep growing, and remember, yoga is serious business, but it's also seriously fun!

Namaste, y'all!
